Who runs on ServiceProof
One platform. Different vocabulary.
Commercial electrical, plumbing, courier and logistics, marine, HVAC and appliance repair. Not five products — one platform, and the fact that all five fit is itself the evidence the model is right.
From CBRE to a boat in a slip
National-account work brokered by CBRE, Vixxo or ServiceChannel at one end. A boat sitting in a slip at the other. A two-truck residential plumber in the middle. Same platform, same board, same engine.
And those three brokers do not want the same things. CBRE wants one close-out packet, Vixxo wants another, ServiceChannel wants a third — which is exactly the kind of difference that has to be data rather than three versions of a form your dispatcher picks between. Scope a rule to a customer →
That is not a boast about breadth — it is the evidence the model is right. Different industries use different words, and underneath them is the same problem: somebody goes to a place, does a defined thing, and has to prove it happened. If a trade needed its own version of the software, we would have built the wrong thing.
Find your trade
Five pages, each anchored on a real shop rather than a persona.
Commercial electrical
Brokered national-accounts work, multi-state crews, and paperwork that is the deliverable. Keep Procore; buy the workflow seats.
Built around Schoolfield Electric — ten commercial electricians, drone pads for Walmart, conveyor systems for Amazon.
Plumbing
Two lines of business on one board, PM agreements that bend instead of breaking, and the callback you win by walking in already knowing.
Charlie’s Plumbing runs 40+ techs through the app every working day.
Courier and logistics
Routes, recurring runs, barcode scanning, and photographic chain of custody that stands up when somebody challenges it.
Built around Way Delivery — forty cars and hotshot box trucks.
Marine service
The serviced thing moves. A boat is equipment with its own history, not an address — so last season’s work is still findable.
Built around Tarvin Marine.
HVAC, appliance and the rest
Appliance repair, locksmith, fire and sprinkler, refrigeration. There is no HVAC edition, and that is the point.
One truck, or forty
A guy in one truck can run teams and fleets of subcontractors. That is not a slogan. It is what happens when the SOP does the coordinating instead of a person — the checklist knows what has to happen next, the rule moves the job to whoever does it, and the proof comes back without anybody chasing it.
Charlie’s Plumbing is live on the app today. Schoolfield Electric, Way Delivery and Tarvin are the work the platform is being built around — named here because they are real businesses with real constraints, not because they are references.
One truck running teams is a claim, and a claim needs a mechanism. Here is the mechanism ↓
Your techs on the app. Your subs on a text. Coming over
You run your own crews in some markets and sub the rest out — and today that means two processes, two standards of proof, and an office that can tell at a glance which job was which. The reason is not that anybody wants it that way. It is that you cannot make a subcontractor install your software, and you never will.
Which is unfortunate, because subs are exactly the people whose work you most need proof of. They are on your site, under your name, on a job you will be invoicing and possibly defending. The person you have the least control over is the person generating the evidence you need most.
So stop trying. Send the job down the messages app that is already open on their phone. It carries that site’s requirements, asks for the same captures your own tech would be asked for, and refuses to close until they exist. No download to begin, nothing to install before value — which is the only reason a one-day sub ever follows your process at all.
Adoption on day one
There is no rollout, no seat to buy and no training session nobody attends. If they can receive a text, they are running your process on the next work order rather than the next quarter.
Your standard, every vendor
The same steps, the same captures, the same shape of record — whether it was your own crew or a sub you have never met. The proof that comes back is indistinguishable, which is the entire point.
Scorecards stop being anecdotal
When every vendor returns the identical shape of proof, “who is any good” becomes a query instead of an argument between two people who both remember it differently.
The whole toolkit is a text thread
MENU, MY JOBS, TODO,
RUN, RESUME, REVIEW. A handful
of words that always work, on any job, printable onto one sheet for a
crew that will never open a manual.
What is here and what is not. The capability profiles above, the runner that drives a job without a screen, and the gate that holds a job open until its captures land are all in the platform today. The connector that actually carries a thread is the next lift — it runs in production on our messaging platform, on the Infobip gateway, where carrier programs, brand verification and verified-sender status are handled by people who do that at planetary scale. That is why this is marked coming over rather than in build: the hard part is not being invented, it is being repointed.
